    Located in Norwood on Morgantown Avenue and just within the city limits of Fairmont, West Virginia, lies an assembly of committed Christians whose singular goal is to glorify Jesus Christ. Victory Baptist Church has a vision and heart for missions at home and abroad. We believe that the mission of the Church is the Great Commission of our Lord as found in the all of the Gospels and the book of Acts.

    Nestled in the heart of the Allegheny Plateau region of the Appalachian Mountains, the City of Fairmont is a municipality of just over 20,000 souls, and is the largest municipality in Marion County. This area is rich in "homespun" culture and simplicity. Many of the people are deeply religious, but it is often a religion where Christ is missing. Fairmont has earned the nickname "the friendly city", and you will find that our church is the "friendly church" in the friendly city.
